About PediaGROW
Our nutritional milk is made at a cooperative in Normandy, France. It’s known for some of the finest dairy products in the world. Discover more about the region’s unique landscape, its pasture-raised herds, and how a small group of French farmers started their infant, toddler, and young children nutrition journey.
A unique terroir in the heart of Normandy
The area is surrounded by fresh and salt-water marshlands, acres of woodland, and vast, green pastures. With a mild climate all year round, it’s the perfect environment for dairy cows to graze for up to eight months of the year. Plus, the fertile soil is known for producing milk that’s naturally rich in mineral salts, micronutrients and oleic fatty acids.
More than 100 years of heritage
For generations, local dairy farmers have recognized the value of this unique terroir. And in 1909, 50 forward-thinking milk producers came together to form a cooperative. They built a factory in Chef-du-Pont, near the Paris-Cherbourg railway line – so their dairy products could be sold in the capital. Just one year later, more than 200 members had joined the venture.
From fine foods to early nutrition
The cooperative is famed for its nutrient-rich pastures, commitment to innovation, and staying true to farming practices that have passed down from generation to generation.
